Privacy Policy

Bits of Redwood LLC is a one-person game studio in Utah. When this page says “we”, that’s who it means. Questions about anything here go to support@bitsofredwood.com.

Our games

Our games, including Honeylyre for iPhone, don’t collect personal information. Nothing about you is sent to us. The optional Apple features below store data with Apple, not with us. You never create an account with us. There are no ads, and we don’t include any analytics or tracking code.

Your progress and settings are saved on your device. If iCloud is turned on, a copy is also kept in your own iCloud account so it can follow you to a new phone. We can’t see or open that copy. To remove it, delete the app and turn off iCloud for the game in your iPhone’s Settings, under your Apple Account.

Game Center

Leaderboards and achievements run on Apple’s Game Center, and signing in is up to you. If you do, your Game Center nickname and scores are visible to other players. Apple stores them, and we don’t keep a copy. You can change your nickname, who sees your profile, or sign out under Settings > Game Center.

Apple runs the App Store and processes every purchase, so we never see your payment details or your Apple Account. If you’ve turned on Share With App Developers in your iPhone’s Analytics & Improvements settings, Apple may pass us crash reports and usage statistics. Apple says that data doesn’t identify you, and Apple’s privacy policy governs that data.

This website

The site has no forms or cookies, and we don’t run analytics on it. It’s hosted by Cloudflare. Like any web host, Cloudflare handles your IP address and basic browser details to deliver pages and block attacks, under its own privacy policy.

When you email us

If you write to us, we keep your email address and message so we can reply and follow up on the issue. We use them for nothing else. Ask and we’ll delete them.

Sharing

We don’t sell personal information or share it with advertisers. The only outside companies involved are the ones named above, doing the jobs described.

Children

Our games are for all ages, and we collect nothing from anyone, children included. Apple sets its own age rules for Game Center. If a child under 13 has emailed us, a parent or guardian can ask us to delete that message.

Your rights

Wherever you live, you can ask what we hold about you and have it corrected or deleted. Email support@bitsofredwood.com and we’ll answer within 30 days.

Changes

If what we collect changes, this page changes first, with a new effective date at the top. A game update that collects something new won’t ship before the policy says so.
